UVERworld is a 6-member J-rock band from Shiga prefecture, Japan.
They formed the band as SOUND GOKU ROAD on 6th june 2000 with 7 members, but 2 of them had to leave for personal reasons. After that they changed their name as UVERworld, named after a german variant of the word "expanding beyond our own world". They debuted on 6th july 2005 with their first single: D-TecnoLife.

Since their debut in 2005, they has released 41 singles and 11 albums, both of which are ranked high on the Oricon chart.

They released their documentary film "UVERworld DOCUMENTARY THE SONG" in August 2012 and released it on the DVD / BD version the following year, winning the 1st place in the Oricon weekly DVD ranking, which is the first feat in a documentary film by a japanese artist.

UVERworld es una banda de J-Rock compuesta por 6 integrantes de la prefectura de Shiga, Japón.
Formaron la banda como SOUND GOKU ROAD el año 2000 con 7 miembros, pero 2 de ellos debieron dejarla por motivos personales, luego de lo cual cambiaron su nombre a UVERworld, basado en la variante alemana de la palabra "expandiendo más allá de nuestro propio mundo" . Debutaron el año 2005 con su primer sencillo:
D-TecnoLife.

Desde su debut en 2005 han publicado 41 sencillos y 11 álbumes, consiguiendo puestos altos en la lista Oricon.

Publicaron su documental "UVERworld DOCUMENTARY THE SONG" en agosto del 2012 y lo publicaron en formato DVD / BD el año siguiente, ganando el primer puesto en el ranking Oricon weekly DVD, lo cual fue la primera hazaña en un documental de un artista japonés.
